Great Buy, Tundra or RMZ-4?
When test driving a Used Toyota Yaris, lets think about the quality of a Toyota and the resale value for all Used Toyota Tacoma, it’s not lets say, as good as purchasing a Used Chrysler but it does have some benefits over the competition.
The 2009 Suzuki Equator is outfitted with a pretty quick V6, not as good as the Toyota Tundra V6, which has enough strength for all those weekend projects and light duty work pickup mission. The less expensive 4 cylinder engine is also offered in the 2009 Suzuki, getting a lot better fuel mileage than the V6 is one benefit, but if I’m pulling a trailer or moving my friends the more powerful V6 is the choice for me.
Providing an abundance of horsepower, six cylinder models are up for almost every chore, the Equator is equipped with unreal suspension and steering ability for every task along with a very comforting shifting automatic transmission.
The RMZ-4’s off-road suspension package makes that bouncy ride feel a little more like a truck. The four wheel drive series are capable of rough terrain, this truck has an unbelievable amount of travel all through the suspension, along with 10 inches of ground space.
The less expensive base Equator is bare and equipped with 15 inch steel wheels and bucket seats with a center console but not much else, air-conditioning or a sound system is standard. The top of the line series has 16” alloy rims, a rear slide glass, a tilt steering wheel, remote entry, full power accessories and upgraded cloth seats. Picking the Sport gets you 17-inch aluminum rims, a rhino coated bed liner and easy to use tie-down cleats in the bed.
The RMZ-4 adds chrome exterior trim, much stronger axles, an electric locking ring and pinion, Bilstein shocks, skid plates, sixteen inch16 inch aluminum rims with aggressive tread pattern tires, fog lights, height and lumbar settings for the driver seat and metallic interior highlights. The RMZ-4 Sport upgrades are a stereo system with a CD player, an auxiliary audio jack, satellite radio prep, and Bluetooth compatibility. Oddly enough, an aftermarket style navigation system is optional on all crew cabs but not obtainable on the extended-cab Equators. Bluetooth is optional exclusively provided for the RMZ-4 crew cab.
